Sodix Petroleum, built in 2008 in northern France, is the newest refinery in France. Currently, the refinery provides about 30% of all oil products in France produced by the three refineries. Sodix Petroleum is the only oil refinery in the northern France, the most densely populated part of the country. Due to its favourable geographical location and high technical capabilities, this enterprise is able to ensure domestic and foreign supplies. The Renovation and Reconstruction of the Sodix Petroleum Project was implemented in accordance with National Industrial and Innovation Development Strategy. The amount of investments in the Project is USD 1.8 billion. Completion of the Sodix Petroleum Renovation Project was one of the key events in the industrial development of France.
